The sea, once it casts its spell,
holds one in its net of wonder forever.

To Be

Philbin beach

To be
is to feel the might of an old tree
the oneness of the sea
the freedom of a bird
and its pain when it is hurt.

To feel
the beating of your heart
the good gods waiting to take part
to move to the rhythm of the beat
and follow the wind's lead
is to be.

To be
is immortality.
Not to be
is a waiting fatality.

Not be
was, and today still is, but be
it will not.
For it forgot the plot
got too hot
and will waste away
in seven years and a day.

It is as they say:

To Be or Not To Be
That is the matter in question!
